Who Mountain Therapy Supports
Families, teenagers, young adults, parents, couples, and women in midlife — supported with compassion, guided with care, and strengthened through resilience
Families
Mountain Therapy works with families to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges together. Sessions can be a combination of individual family members or multiple members present, depending on what best supports the needs of the family. This flexibility allows space for personal reflection as well as collaborative problem-solving, helping families build understanding and foster healthier dynamics.
Mountain Therapy supports teenagers and young adults as they navigate the pressures and changes of these important life stages. Sessions may focus on issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, friendships, identity, academic or career decisions, grief, and trauma. Work often begins with individual sessions to provide a safe, non-judgmental space, which can then extend into family sessions, if appropriate.
Teenagers or Young Adults
Parents or Couples
Parents and couples are supported in navigating the complexities of relationships, communication, and family life. Sessions may focus on parenting strategies, strengthening family dynamics, or creating healthier patterns within a partnership. Whether addressing parenting challenges, conflict, or the need to rebuild trust and connection, Mountain Therapy provides a safe space to work toward stronger, more supportive relationships.
Women in midlife
Mountain Therapy supports women in midlife as they navigate the personal and physical changes that often arise during this stage of life. Sessions may address shifting family roles, identity, relationships, and the impact of perimenopause and menopause on wellbeing, including symptoms such as anxiety, mood changes, and changes in self-confidence. Mountain Therapy provides a supportive space to reflect, gain clarity, and develop strategies to manage these challenges, fostering resilience and a renewed sense of direction.
